Wednesday morning, the Sedalia Police Department took an assault report in the lobby of the Police Station. The victim reported that she was assaulted by a person known to her the previous day in the 500 block of East 10th Street. Charges have been submitted to the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office for review.

Wednesday night, a subject was contacted near the intersection of East 7th Street and South Montgomery Avenue. During the contact, the subject was found to have two Pettis County Failure to Appear warrants. Both warrants were on original charges of Driving While Revoked. Earl M. Moon, 47, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Total bond on the warrants was set at $500 cash only.
