Wednesday night, Officers responded to the 1500 block of West 14th Street for a report of a disturbance. When Officers arrived, involved parties were spoken with regarding what occurred. After investigation, it was determined no arrest was going to be made. One female requested to leave and was transported to her destination. A report was completed for informational purposes only.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 400 block of East 3rd Street for a report of a disturbance Wednesday evening. The argument was between a mother, father, and son. They all agreed the father and son were arguing, and the son head butted the father. The father had no injuries and did not wish to pursue any charges. A 12 hour log was completed for the residence.


 

Wednesday morning, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at West 24th Street and South Grand Avenue. Officers ran the information of all the persons inside the vehicle and a warrant was discovered and confirmed on the driver. Ruth Y Rubio Turcios, 23, of Sedalia, was arrested for her Pettis County warrant for Careless and Imprudent Driving. The vehicle was left in the custody of the unlicensed passenger who had called a licensed driver to pick up her and the vehicle. Rubio Turcios was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a cash bond of $209 and a court date.
