Sedalia Police Reports For January 26, 2023

Wednesday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of West 16th Street and Thompson Boulevard. The driver was found to have a suspended driver's license. Misty Dawn Rahe, 45, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended. Rahe was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Rush Hour store, 1320 South Limit Avenue Wednesday night in reference to a subject trespassing in the store. Officers spoke to an intoxicated person in the business. He was ultimately arrested for Trespassing. Jonathan Michael Rockett, 26, Homeless, was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24 hour hold pending formal charges of Trespassing in the 1st Degree.

Late Wednesday night, Officers responded to the lobby of the Police Department for a report of a subject who wanted to turn himself in. He was found to have an active warrant for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Suspended out of Pettis County. Cecilio Rubio Leon, 39, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Wednesday morning, Officers responded to the 100 block of East Johnson Street in reference to a subject requesting to turn themselves in because they had a warrant for their arrest. The subject had two active warrants out of Pettis County for Failing to Appear in court. Pia Ladette Carter, 55, of Sedalia, was arrested for her FTA warrants on original charges of two counts of felony Stealing (4th or More Offense in the Last 10 Years). Bond on the warrants was set at $300,000 cash or surety.
