Early Thursday morning, Sedalia Police performed a traffic stop on a silver Volkswagen passenger car, as the vehicle had defective tail lights. The traffic stop took place in the 2400 block of South Stewart Avenue. Officers spoke to the driver, performed a computer check through Dispatch, and discovered she had a revoked Missouri driver's license. Carrie Lynn Wilcox, 44, of Windsor, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where she was booked and released for Driving While Suspended. Court dates are to be determined.


 

Thursday morning, Officers initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of West Main Street and South Mitchell Road. Following a brief investigation, the driver was arrested on a Johnson County Failure to Appear warrant on an original charge of Speeding. David O. Waters Jr., 48, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where bond on the warrant was set at $300 cash only.
