Thursday night, Officers responded to the KO Storage, 1526 West Main Street to investigate an assault report. After speaking with both subjects involved, both were issued citations. Cynthia Dahman, 55, of Sedalia, and Amanda L. Hill, 46, of Sedalia, were both issued citations for Assault and given a court date in September.


 

Early Friday morning, Officers performed a traffic stop near the intersection of West Saline Street and North Summit Avenue. Severiano Figueroa Juanmiguel, 49, of Smithton, was arrested for Driving While Revoked, and then released at the scene with a court date.

Sedalia Police responded to the State Fair Shopping Center, 1400 South Limit Avenue for a theft report. When Officers arrived, contact was made with the caller behind a business. The caller, Jordan Tye Whelan, stated that he was doing some work on the roof of the business, and then lowered his tool bag to the ground. When he returned, the tool bag was gone. The bag was estimated to be valued at $2500. There is no known suspect at the time of the report.


 

Officers responded to the area near South Moniteau Avenue and West 9th Street for a warrant check Wednesday morning. A computer check through Dispatch confirmed him to have two active warrants for Non Support of a Minor Child. David O. Waters, 51, of Sedalia, was arrested on the warrants. The Pettis County non-support warrant did not have a bond, while the Clay County warrant carried a bond of $21,194.944.
