Sedalia Police Reports For July 28, 2021

Tuesday night, Officers initiated an investigative stop on a car near the B&B Theater, 4104 West Main Street. A check through Dispatch showed the driver's license status was revoked. A search of the car found methamphetamine. Victoriano Sevastian Felipe, 28, of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24 hour hold pending charges of Driving While Revoked and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Officers were dispatched to The Best Western Hotel, 3120 South Limit Tuesday night for a report of a suspicious person. When Officers arrived, a female was located inside one of the rooms. The female had a parole violation warrant out of Jefferson City. Lori L. Moore, 50, Homeless, was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.
Monday evening, Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the Police Station in reference to found property, a Samsung cell phone. The property was found in the 900 block of South Sneed Avenue. The phone was placed into evidence for safekeeping.
Tuesday night, Officers responded to the Casey's store, 716 West 16th Street, in reference to a disturbance. The complainant stated she was accused of taking a phone. The phone was recovered, and a general information report was taken for documentation.
Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of East 9th Street Tuesday evening for a report of suspicious activity. It was reported to Officers an unknown male subject attempted to open the doors on the residence, however, the doors were locked.
Officers were dispatched to a reported disturbance in the 1000 block of East 13th Street Tuesday night. When Officers arrived, they determined it to be a domestic incident between an adult male and female. Officers could not determine a primary physical aggressor. A 12 hour log for the incident was recorded.
Early Wednesday morning, Officers conducted a subject check near the 300 block of East Boonville Street. The subject was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Cameron Dean Dale Taber, 18, of Smithton, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana with a bond amount to be determined.
Tuesday afternoon, Sedalia Police responded to a theft from a vehicle no longer in progress. The theft took place in a parking lot near the Public Works Department, 901 East 3rd Street. Anthony Louis Woolery reported the value of the stolen items to be $103.00.
Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 300 block of East 14th Street Tuesday morning for a disturbance. During the course of the investigation, Officers determined the female subject involved was the primary aggressor. Julia Barklage, 18, of Sedalia, was arrested without incident and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Barklage was placed on a 24 hour hold pending charges of Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree.
Tuesday evening, Officers responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of the Pettis County Community Partnership, 1400 S Limit Avenue #29. During the course of the investigation of the disturbance, a subject was found to have urinated in public. Bruce Andrew Gullett, 35, of Sedalia, was arrested and released on a summons with a court date.
Tuesday morning, Officers took a report over the phone from Alexandra Paige Ritzo in regards to a theft. The theft was from a motor vehicle and occurred in the 1000 block of East 4th Street.
Monday afternoon, Officers met with the victim in the lobby of the Police Department in reference to harassment. The victim stated that someone known to her posted her personal information on Facebook and encouraged people to harass her using said information. State charges of Harassment are being requested on the suspect.
