Wednesday morning, Officers took a report in the Police Department lobby for theft. Loretta Grubb filed a report stating an unknown online source had stolen money from the 1000 block of South Vermont Avenue in the form of Apple gift cards. No suspects have been identified.


 

Sedalia Police took a report of Harassment Wednesday morning in the lobby of the Police Department. Edward Marshall and Christina Jones came to the lobby and wrote a statement saying they were being harassed and threatened by a family member over a home they share ownership of. No charges are being filed at this time.


 

Officers responded to the 800 block of East 13th Street Wednesday afternoon in reference to theft. Upon arrival, Officers met with Alexus M. Nicks. Nicks stated that a juvenile had come onto her porch and stolen a bicycle. He was last seen riding it northbound on Marvin Avenue from the address.

Wednesday afternoon, Officers responded to the 1000 block of East 3rd Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, it was discovered that a juvenile within the residence had assaulted another juvenile. There were minor injuries between the two. The juvenile that started the altercation was transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center for evaluation. A referral was sent to the Juvenile Office.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the UPS store, 2304 West Broadway Boulevard Wednesday morning in reference to property damage and theft. Upon arrival, Officers met with management. Management stated a male subject used a front door key to enter the business while it was closed on July 4th. The male then proceeded to urinate into a trash can, then place a decorative plant in a second trash can and walked out with both items. The incident was captured on video, and a license plate was obtained of the vehicle the suspect was in.
