Monday afternoon, an Officer was dispatched to the Show Me Auto Mall, 108 West 16th Street, in reference to a stolen vehicle report.  The vehicle was last seen on the evening of June 6th.  The vehicle was entered as a stolen vehicle into MULES and NCIC.  When entering the vehicle as stolen, the VIN provided delayed hits.  The vehicle was located and the vehicle owner was contacted for recovery.


Early Tuesday morning, an Officer initiated a traffic stop at West Broadway Boulevard and South Stewart Avenue.  The driver consented to a search of the vehicle.  While searching the vehicle, the Officer located drug paraphernalia covered in white residue that tested positive for methamphetamine.  Shauna M. Lachance, 39, of Independence, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Trafficking in the 2nd Degree, Tampering with Evidence and Introduction of a Controlled Substance into a Jail Facility. Lachance was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24 hour hold.
