Sedalia Police Reports For June 8, 2023

Very early Wednesday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of South Quincy Avenue for a report of a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, the subjects were separated and no longer fighting. A primary physical aggressor could not be determined. A 12-hour log was created to document the events.
Officers conducted a warrant check in the 500 block of East 14th Street Wednesday evening. Officers contacted a subject who had a warrant from Pettis County with a bond amount. Trista G. Kendrick, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested for her warrant on charges of felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Kendrick was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in pending a cash or surety bond of $2500.
Wednesday night, Officers did a subject check in the area of West Main Street and South Limit Avenue. The subject’s information was checked with Dispatch, and it was confirmed he had an active warrant for his arrest. Justin David Woolery, 36, Homeless, was arrested for his 2022 Failure to Appear warrant from St. Clair County on original charges of felony Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the 1st Degree (Involving Drugs). Woolery was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked, pending a bond of $10,000 cash only.
Sedalia Police spoke with Steven Akers on the phone in reference to a theft of a debit card Wednesday afternoon. Akers explained his debit card was stolen while he was shopping at the Wood’s grocery store, 701 East Broadway Boulevard. The card was later used at a local business. The card was shut down, and a report was made with the bank. At the time of the report, the suspect has not been identified.
Emergency crews responded to the intersection of South Limit Avenue and Tiger Pride Boulevard in reference to a vehicle crash with injuries Wednesday afternoon. Investigation revealed a northbound Chevrolet Equinox rear-ended a Subaru Outback. The collision caused the Subaru to strike the rear of a third vehicle. The third vehicle fled the scene without providing information. The driver of the Subaru was transported to the Bothwell Hospital by PCAD with minor injury. At the time of the report, the third vehicle has not been identified.
On the evening of June 4th, an Officer was dispatched to the lobby of the Police Department in reference to a civil dispute. The incident was documented using a general information report.
Sedalia Police were dispatched to the lobby of the Police Department Sunday evening in reference to a theft report. Robert Barclay stated that approximately four weeks prior, someone had stolen their phone from the 300 block of McAnally Court.
