Early Friday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The vehicle had been observed speeding in the area of South Limit Avenue and West 32nd Street. A computer check revealed the driver had a suspended driver's license. John Glen Fizer, 33, of Mora, was arrested for Driving While Suspended. Fizer was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.


 

Thursday evening, Officers responded to the lobby of the Police Department for a property damage call. Officers gathered information and generated a report. Later in the evening, Officers made contact with suspect in the 400 block of North Park Avenue. Walter Jack Staten Jr., 32, of Sedalia, was issued a summons for Destruction of Non City Property.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Woods East Supermarket, 701 East Broadway Boulevard, in reference to trespassing. When Officers arrived, they made contact with the caller. The caller informed Officers the individual was sleeping by the bathroom, and would not leave. Officers made contact with the individual, who was highly intoxicated. He was taken to the BRHC for a fit for confinement exam. After being cleared, he was taken to the Pettis County Jail. However, the Jail refused to accept him due to his intoxication. Sergei S. Gladush Jr., 44, Homeless, was transported back to the BRHC to be placed on a safekeeping hold.

Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of West 16th Street and South Limit Avenue Wednesday night on a vehicle that was speeding. During the investigation of the stop, it was found the driver had a warrant for their arrest. Connor K. Ralston, 22, of Sedalia, was arrested for his Knob Noster Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Speeding. Ralston was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a cash or surety bond of $150.00.


 

Early Tuesday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of South Lamine Avenue and East 7th Street. The stop was conducted because the vehicle was not displaying a front registration plate. The driver had also failed to maintain the right half of the roadway. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. The driver was arrested, and during a search of the vehicle a firearm was located. The suspect is prohibited from possessing a firearm, and it was seized. Gregory A. Franklin, 47, of Smithton, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Concealable Weapon and Driving While Intoxicated (Prior Offender). Franklin was transported to the Sedalia Police Department, where he provided a breath sample that showed his BAC to be above 0.08.


 

Early Wednesday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was observed trespassing in the area of South Washington Avenue and East Main Street. During the course of the investigation, the driver was determined to be intoxicated. Wallace N. Harry, 20, of Knob Noster, was transported to the Sedalia Police Department, where he provided a breath sample that showed his BAC to be above 0.08. Harry was issued a UTT for DWI and released.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on Industrial Road near West Broadway Boulevard on a vehicle not displaying a front license plate. During the course of the investigation, the driver was determined to be intoxicated. Tyler Parker Woodington, 26, of Sedalia, was transported to the Sedalia Police Department, where he provided a breath sample that showed his BAC to be above 0.08. Woodington was fingerprinted and issued a UTT for DWI. Woodington was then released to a sober driver.


 

Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the Police Department Wednesday afternoon in reference to a theft report. John D. Muntean stated someone stole their debit card from the 100 block of East 10th Street. Then, they withdrew cash from their account without his knowledge.
