In the early morning hours Wednesday, Sedalia Police responded to the 500 block of North Moniteau Avenue for a disturbance. After an investigation, it was determined that one of the subjects stole a ring from her mother while the mother was in the hospital. Angela L. Bradley, 36, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest on a state felony Stealing charge. Bradley was then transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was placed on a 24 hour hold.


 

On the evening of February 26th, Sedalia Police initiated a traffic stop in the 1900 block of West Main Street on a car that was failing to maintain the right half of the roadway. The occupant provided a false name before running from the car. The occupant was identified, and charges are being requested for state felony Resisting Arrest and Identity Theft.


 

Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that had no rear license plate Tuesday night. The driver's information came back from Dispatch with a license status of revoked. Lachelle R. Flores, 38, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Revoked and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Flores was booked on a 24 hour hold, pending charges.


 

Tuesday night, Sedalia Police initiated a traffic stop on a car at West Pettis and North Missouri for a headlight out. A warrant check of the occupant revealed he had a felony $500 cash only warrant from Callaway County for Non Support and a $329.50 cash only misdemeanor warrant out of Pettis County for Failure to Appear on original charges of Resisting Arrest. Jeremy Lynn Edgar, 33, of Sedalia, was arrested on the warrants and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Tuesday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of East 5th Street in regard to a theft. Upon arrival, Officers met with Ronald Dollar, who stated that someone had obtained his credit card information. The suspect made at least eight charges totalling $237.18. It was noted that there are likely additional charges, and this is only the ones Dollar has discovered so far. Dollar was able to provide the name of a suspect, and stated he wanted to pursue charges.


 

Officers responded to the UHaul in the 400 block of West Main Street Tuesday afternoon for a report of a stolen vehicle. Danny VanDyne reported that a male subject had rented a vehicle and has since failed to return it.


 

Tuesday morning, Officers responded to the 2400 block of West 2nd Street Terrace in reference to a disturbance. Officers could not determine a primary physical aggressor, and the subjects had separated. A detailed report has been completed and no arrests have been made at this time. A 12 hour log is being completed to document the incident.


 

Sedalia Police received identify theft report information from the Costa Mesa California Police Department Tuesday morning. The original report indicated that the victim is from the state of California. The victim had someone attempt to open an account at the US Bank in Sedalia using her information. The Sedalia Police Department is investigating the case. A suspect has not been identified at the time of the report.


 

Monday morning, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of South Lamine in regard to a theft. Kimberly A. Klein reported a theft that occurred in the past month. Someone had stolen $1500 in cash from her home. Klein stated she wanted to pursue charges.


 

Monday afternoon, Officers responded to the Sedalia Police Department lobby for a fraudulent use of a debit card report. On arrival, Officers spoke with Violetta M. Tyan, who stated that on February 28th, $13.00 was charged to her account without authorization. At the time of the report, a suspect has not been located.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a vehicle stop in the 1500 block of South Warren Avenue Monday afternoon. The driver was arrested for two Failure to Appear warrants out of Sedalia on original charges of Speeding. Natasha R. Parkhurst, 22, was transported to the Pettis County Jail and then turned over to jail staff with a combined bond of $400 cash only. The vehicle involved was released to a passenger in the vehicle.
