Early Thursday morning, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of East 7th Street. At the end of the investigation, one female subject was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Angela R. Jackson, 58, of Sedalia, was booked in on charges of Elder Abuse in the 1st Degree, and felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Jackson was placed on a 24-hour hold.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the Casey’s store, 1601 East Broadway Boulevard Wednesday evening in reference to a hit and run accident. Ruby Larsen stated a pickup truck pulling a trailer backed into the Casey’s property, and left the scene without providing any information. The driver was not identified at this time.


 

Officers conducted a traffic stop at the Break Time store, 318 West Broadway Boulevard Wednesday night. The vehicle was being operated by an individual known to have a revoked driving status. During the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. Isidro Alejo Ubaldo, 44, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (Persistent Offender) and Driving While Revoked. Ubaldo was transported to the Sedalia Police Department, where he provided a breath sample that showed his BAC was above 0.08. Ubaldo was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.

Wednesday night, Officers responded to the 2400 block of West Main Street in reference to a theft report. Officers spoke with Thomas L. Lee, who stated his brother refuses to return his vehicle. Charges have been requested for Theft of a Motor Vehicle.


 

Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of East Broadway Boulevard and South Hancock Avenue on a vehicle late Wednesday night because it had multiple equipment violations. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered the driver had a Failure to Appear warrant for his arrest from Morgan County on original charges of Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle. Brian Joseph Carl, 51, of Cole Camp, was arrested and tarnsprote4d to the Petti County Jail pending a cash only bond of $100.00.


 

On the night of May 21st. Officers responded to the Fitter’s 5th Street Brew Pub, 500 South Ohio Avenue, to investigate a report of property damage. Sky Bailey stated a male subject was highly intoxicated, and had thrown items around, damaging the property. The subject was identified and contacted. At this time, the subject was willing to pay for the damage in agreement with the owner, and was trespassed from the property. No charges are being filed currently on the subject, who was not named in the report.


 

Wednesday night, Officers conducted a traffic stop at the Wood’s Grocery Store, 701 East Broadway Boulevard. The driver of the vehicle was identified, and found to have a suspended driver’s license. Lindsey M. Watkins, 41, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended. Watkins was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold.


 

Last Sunday night, Officers were dispatched to the Bothwell Regional Health Center, 601 East 14th Street, in reference to a dog bite. When Officers arrived, they spoke with the victim, Don Patmerin. Patmerin stated he was walking on the Katy Trail near South Massachusetts Avenue when he was bit by a stray dog. The dog then ran off.
