Wednesday night, Officers were dispatched to the area near West Broadway Boulevard and South Osage Avenue for a possible domestic assault occurring in a vehicle. Upon arrival, Officers located the vehicle in the parking lot of the Ewing Schutte Semler Funeral Home, in the area of West 7th Street and South Osage Avenue. Officers spoke with all parties involved. After the investigation, it was determined a physical assault did take place between the involved parties, but a primary aggressor could not be determined. A 12 hour log was documented for the incident.

Sedalia Police took a theft report in reference to a wallet that was left in the parking lot at the Dollar General, 2003 South Limit Avenue. Bobby Estes reported they had visited the store Wednesday afternoon, and the wallet was left behind about an hour earlier.


 

Wednesday evening, Officers were dispatched to the area of East Broadway Boulevard and South Murry Avenue for a report of a physical domestic assault. Officers arrived, investigated, and determined a physical altercation did take place between the two parties. Officers determined the altercation was mutual between the two. A primary physical aggressor could not be determined. The parties went their separate ways. A 12-hour log entry was created.


 

Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Dennis Road in reference to a missing person’s report Wednesday evening. Officers collected the information and determined there was enough to enter the subject as missing.


 

Wednesday afternoon, a wallet was located in the area of East 9th Street and South Porter Avenue. The wallet was turned over to the Police Department.
