Sedalia Police Reports For May 4, 2023

Wednesday evening, Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Montgomery Avenue to take a theft report. Zachary Norton stated his moped was stolen between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. A report was collected, and the vehicle was entered as stolen.

Wednesday morning, Officers responded to the Woods grocery store, 701 East Broadway Boulevard, in reference to a trespassing report. It was discovered shortly that the subject had also stolen approximately $5.18 worth of alcohol from the business. The subject had also been previously trespassed from the business. Sergei S. Gladush Jr., 44, Homeless, was transported to the Pettis County Jail. Gladush was booked in on charges of Burglary in the 1st Degree and Shoplifting. Gladush was placed on a 24 hour hold.
