Thursday evening, Officers performed a traffic stop on a silver mini van as the vehicle had an expired temporary tag. The traffic stop took place in the area of South Grand Avenue and West 6th Street. Officers spoke to the driver, and performed a computer check through Dispatch, whereupon it was learned that the driver had an active Probation Violation warrant from Pettis County on original charges of Receiving Stolen Property with a $5,000 cash or surety bond. Amber Dawn Brandes, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

A truck was stopped early Friday morning in the area of West 16th Street and South Barrett Avenue for failure to use its turn signal. After an investigation, it was determined that the driver was intoxicated. Frankie Elmer Bishop, 70, of Sedalia, was transported to the Sedalia Police Headquarters, processed and released on a municipal charge of Driving While Intoxicated.


 

Early Thursday morning, Officers responded to the 400 block of East Howard Street for a report of found property. While speaking with Suzanna B Donovan, she turned over a Missouri ID she found in her front yard. The ID was brought to the Police Department and placed into evidence for safekeeping.


 

Officers observed a vehicle run a red light in the area of East Broadway Boulevard and South Lamine Avenue Thursday night. An investigation showed illegal items within the vehicle. The items were seized for destruction. The driver was released from the scene with citations for Disobeying a Signal Light and No Seatbelt.


 

Early Friday morning, Officers conducted a vehicle stop near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Mitchell Road for an improper turn. The driver was found to have a Failure to Appear warrant out of Johnson County for Improper Registration with a $150 cash or surety bond. Nicholas A. Miller, 26, of Warrensburg, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail for processing.


 

Officers observed a semi truck travelling at 57 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone Thursday morning in the 2500 block of West Broadway Boulevard. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified. A computer check of the driver showed he had a Failure to Appear warrant out of Cole County for Passing a Bad Check with a $200 cash only bond. Keith L. Davis Jr., 30, of O'Fallon was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Thursday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of South Osage Avenue for a report of theft. When Officers arrived, they spoke with Robert D. Ronspiez. Ronspiez stated that sometime between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, someone stole his green 2000 Kawasaki 200 valued at $2,000 and his dark blue 2000 Yamaha Razz valued at $800. There are no suspects at this time.


 

Thursday morning, Officers responded to the 1700 block of West 9th Street in reference to a possible burglary. It was discovered that the front doors of Chrome Cutz and Sunkiss'd Tanning had been smashed. It did not appear that entry was made into Chrome Cutz. Approximately $50 in cash was missing from Sunkiss'd Tanning. The total value of the damage that occurred during the theft was estimated at approximately $1,850. No suspects have been located at this time.


 

Officers initiated a traffic stop on a dark colored Acura SUV in the 1700 block of West Main Street Thursday afternoon. Contact was made with the suspect. The suspect told Officers he believed he had a suspended or revoked driving status. He had an active Pettis County warrant for Driving While Suspended. James William Dingus Fague, 33, of Sedalia, was arrested. Incident to arrest, drug related items were located inside the vehicle. Fague was transported to the Pettis County Jail. Fague was booked and released pending the filing of state charges for Possession of a Dangerous Drug and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


 

Thursday morning, Officers responded to the Police Station in reference to a subject wanting to turn in a firearm for safe keeping. The firearm was placed into evidence.


 

Wednesday evening, Officers responded to the Break Time store, 808 East Broadway Boulevard, for a verbal disturbance. On arrival, Officers made contact with both subjects involved. A computer check through Dispatch revealed that one of the subjects had a revoked driver's license. Investigation revealed that the subject had driven to the store and was also in the driver's seat upon contact. Nathanael A. David, 32, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. State charges of Driving While Revoked are being requested.


 

Sedalia Police received a call from Larry Dale Hundley to report a theft from his vehicle Thursday morning. Hundley reported that a firearm had been taken from his vehicle within the last six weeks.


 

Thursday morning, Officers responded the 2300 block of East 10th Street for a subject check. On arrival, Officers met with Thomas B. Walje, 48, of Sedalia. A computer check through Dispatch confirmed him to have an active felony Failure to Appear warrant out of Pettis County on an original charge of Harassment. Walje was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. His bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety.


 

On the afternoon of November 14th, Officers responded with Pettis County Deputies to the 3300 block of South Washington Avenue for a warrant check. At the residence, contact was made with a male subject known to have an Active Pettis County warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Robert Anthony Woolery was arrested, and allowed Officers to search an area of the home that he had control over. In the area, items of drug paraphernalia were located. Woolery was transported to the Pettis County Jail by Pettis County Deputies, where he was booked on his active warrant. State charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia are being sought.
