Sedalia Police took a vandalism report on Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of West 16th. According to the report, someone threw a rock through their living room window, and also shattered a bedroom window. Charges were submitted to the Pettis County prosecutor for 2nd degree property damage and harassment.


 

On Wednesday just before 9 a.m., Sedalia Police responded to the area of 209 North Mill on two subjects fighting. Investigation revealed that the couple had been in a relationship which was ending. A verbal argument turned physical, and both subjects sustained injuries. Neither wished to pursue charges, so a 12-hour log was created to document the incident.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop near 3rd and Grand on Tuesday night around 11:15 p.m. The driver of the vehicle was wanted on a failure to appear Municipal warrant. 36-year-old Amy Lynn Hilton was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was provided with a new court date. Her bond was $100.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at 5th and Ohio at 2:39 a.m. Sunday on a white Mercedes. The driver, 25-year-old Irving Yosimar Catalan Rodriguez of Sedalia, appeared intoxicated and was subsequently arrested for DWI. A computer check revealed that Rodriguez was also driving while suspended. A blood draw search warrant was obtained, and Rodriguez was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for testing. He was then transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released for DWI and DWS. His court dates was TBA.
