Sedalia Police Reports For October 13, 2023

Thursday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop near the Wesley United Methodist Church, 1322 West Broadway Boulevard. During the traffic stop, the Officer discovered the driver had a warrant for their arrest from Pettis County dated in 2018. Kathleen Rose Easley, 52, of Sedalia, was arrested for her Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Failure to Display License Plates on a Vehicle or Trailer with a bond set at $150.00 cash only.
Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of West 20th Street early Friday morning in reference to a hit and run accident. When Officers arrived, they spoke with Cody Ray Patton. Patton stated his vehicle had been struck while parked outside of the residence. The other driver fled the area. No arrests have been made at news time.
Wednesday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the Bomgar's Shopping Center, 2400 South Limit Avenue in reference to a theft and property damage report. Meredith Holloway reported the victims were parked in the parking lot of the shopping center when their vehicle was rummaged through. A credit card was stolen out of the vehicle. There was also new damage to the front bumper of the vehicle.
