This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department reports.

Tuesday morning, Officers located a reported stolen vehicle in the 3400 block of West Broadway Boulevard. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, which led to a vehicle pursuit on West Broadway Boulevard. The pursuit was terminated at the city limits on Oak Grove Lane. Through an investigation, a suspect was identified and located in the 3400 block of West Broadway Boulevard. After the suspect was arrested, he led officers to the location of the stolen vehicle, which was recovered and towed. Brenden Michael Price, 22, of Sedalia, was arrested for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle in the 1st Degree and felony Resisting Arrest.


 

Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of South Osage in reference to a theft Monday evening. Officers were told by Lloyd E. Moore that between April and September of 2020, a black in color Marshall 100 power amplifier, valued at $1500, was taken from the residence.


 

Monday night, Officers were dispatched to the Police Department lobby in reference to a disturbance that occurred earlier in the day at the 500 block of East 16th Street. All parties were identified in the case, no charges are being requested at this time. The incident had been documented on a 12 hour domestic violence log. There was no further information in the report.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 400 block of East Boonville Street Tuesday morning in reference to a harassment and property damage report. Officers located the suspect nearby. Samantha L. Kinner, 35, of Sedalia, was arrested for harassment and property damage. Kinner spit on Officers after being placed in handcuffs. Kinner was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24 hour hold pending state charges of Harassment, Property Damage, and Assault in the 4th Degree.


 

On the afternoon of October 6th, Officers met with Samuel Perez Jr. in regards to an assault that occurred on West Morgan Street on Sunday October 4th. The subject's injuries were documented and the investigation is ongoing.


 

Tuesday morning, Sedalia Police responded to the 2500 block of South Bristol Lane in regards to a found baggie of a white crystalline substance. The substance was taken to the Police Department for destruction.


 

Monday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Carr in reference to a domestic disturbance. Kandice Durian and Randall Durian were arguing while the female was collecting her possessions from the residence. During the argument, both parties threw rocks at the other's vehicle. Neither party wanted to pursue charges.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 1600 block of South Sneed in regards to a sex crime investigation Tuesday afternoon. The victim was referred to Child Safe for an interview and the investigation is ongoing.


 

Tuesday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of West 4th Street for a report of property damage. Upon arrival, Officers met with James Leon Hazell, who wanted to report that a Democratic campaign sign that was defaced and being sold on Facebook.
