
Sedalia Police Reports for October 3, 2024

On the morning of September 29th, Officers were dispatched to a large retail store at 3201 West Broadway Boulevard in regards to a report of stealing. Employees had reported a male subject was stealing items, and the suspect in the theft was also a suspect in a theft at the store the previous evening.
Wednesday morning, Officers were dispatched to the Liberty and Tambo Apartments, in the 1400 block of Liberty Park boulevard, in regards to a report of abandoned property. On arrival, Officers spoke with the reporting party, who reported a bicycle was left behind at the apartment building. Officers collected the bike and it was entered into evidence as found property.
Wednesday evening, Officers responded to a gas station at 1722 West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a report of property damage. Brandon Eugene McGee reported a former employee had caused damage to the store. Information was gathered for a report, and the suspect has been identified, but not located.

Tuesday evening, a traffic stop was conducted near the area of West 3rd Street and South Moniteau Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was found not have a driver’s license. Ramon Jacinto Campos, 48 of St Joseph, was arrested on a charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle on the Highway Without a Valid License. Campos was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail.
Early Thursday morning, Officers located a vehicle that was apparently trying to avoid law enforcement. The vehicle was driving on Clarendon Road when Officers lost sight of the vehicle. The Officers located the vehicle unoccupied a while later at Southwest Boulevard and Skyline Avenue. Officers located two suspects walking down the road. The two suspects admitted they were both in the vehicle, and had attempted to elude law enforcement because neither of them had valid driver’s licenses. Chelsea Rene Patterson, 34, of Columbia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended. Patterson was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.
