
Sedalia Police Reports for October 8, 2024

On the night of September 18th, a car was stopped with West 16th Street and South Carr Avenue for failing to maintain its lane. The driver was intoxicated by drugs. Alexis Marie Templeton, 24, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs).
Monday night, an Officer responded to the 1500 block of South Harrison Avenue for a report of assault. Jessica Wallut reported being struck by an object that was thrown from a passing vehicle. The victim did not sustain injury.
Officers were dispatched to a bank located at 1601 South Limit Avenue to investigate a fraud report on the morning of October 3rd. Officers arrived on scene, gathered information and documentation, and a report was completed.

Monday night, Officers were dispatched to a motel at 1217 South Limit Avenue in reference to a report of shots fired through a window. Officers arrived on scene, and located the broken window. Officers were able to gather a suspect description from a nearby business. The suspect was located at South Warren Avenue and West 9th Street. He refused to comply with Officers’ orders to show his hands. After a brief struggle, Sedalia Officers and Pettis County Deputies were able to take the subject into custody. Christopher William Crouch, 52, Homeless, was arrested on charges of Property Damage in the 1st Degree and Resisting Arrest.
Sedalia Police were dispatched to a department store located at 4300 Wisconsin Avenue to investigate a report of shoplifting. Officers arrived on scene, gathered information, documentation, and photos of the suspect and the suspect vehicle. A report was completed.
