Sedalia Police Reports for September 10, 2024

Early Tuesday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of East 6th Street and South Brown Avenue. The driver was arrested on an outstanding municipal Failure to Appear warrant from Sedalia Police on original charges of Driving While Intoxicated (Alcohol). Justin Daniels Casdorph, 37, of Sedalia, was arrested for his warrant and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a cash only bond of $200.
Monday night, Officers responded to the 1500 block of East 6th Street for a report of a dog bite. Amy R. Peter stated the bite occurred a few minutes before the call. Information for the report was collected.
On the afternoon of September 5th, Officers were dispatched to 3751 West 10th Street in reference to theft. Delbert L. Steffens reported the fraudulent use of checks, and a theft.
Monday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of East 15th Street in regards to a theft. Officers arrived on scene and gathered information from Amy Denise Barton. A report was generated.
Monday morning, Officers were dispatched to the Sedalia Police Department lobby in refenre4ce to at heft. Noah J. Mitchell reported that a theft occurred in the overnight hours. Items were stolen in the 2400 block of West 2nd Street Terrace.
Sedalia Police responded to a found property report on the morning of September 5th at a convenience store located at 1722 West Broadway Boulevard. Officers were provided ID cards that had been left at the store by customers that had not returned to claim them. The cards were entered into property at the Police Department for safe keeping, after efforts were exhausted to contact the owners.
