Wednesday afternoon, Sedalia Police made contact with a suspect in the 600 block of West 5th Street.  Police ran the suspect's information through Dispatch, who confirmed an active warrant out of Sedalia for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Operating a Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility.  Alla V. Mishchuk, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was given a $100.00 cash only bond and a court date.


 

Officers responded to the 700 block of West 3rd for a harassment report Wednesday evening.  Lisa M. Hicks reported she has been receiving threatening text messages from a person that she has a child in common with.  At the time of the report, the location of the suspect was not known.


 

Sedalia Police were contacted by Chelsey A. Dedrick in regard to a potentially stolen license plate Wednesday afternoon.  Dedrick requested a report for documentation purposes.


 

Wednesday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the Cork and Bottle store in the 3800 block of East Broadway on a report of found property.  When Officers arrived, an employee informed them that a plastic bag filled with personal items was found by the trash can outside.  The employee stated she looked inside the bag and found pills and ammunition inside with a name of Gregory Cole on the prescription, so she called the Police.  Officers collected the items and placed them into evidence storage, as the owner could not be contacted.


 

Officers responded to the 200 block of Thompson Boulevard to make contact with a wanted person Wednesday morning. Upon arrival, Officers met with the suspect, and his information was given to Dispatch.  Dispatch advised Christopher S. Terry, 32, of Sedalia, had an active Higginsville Municipal Warrant for Failure to Appear.  The warrant was confirmed, and Terry was transported to the Pettis County Jail.  Terry was given a cash or surety bond for $400, and a court date was given.
