Sedalia Police Reports for September 26, 2024

Early Thursday morning, Officers conducted a subject check in the 600 block of West Broadway Boulevard. The subject was identified and found to be highly intoxicated. Sergei S. Gladush Jr., 45, Homeless, was arrested and transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center where a fit for confinement check was conducted. Gladush was then transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 12-hour safekeeping hold.
Wednesday morning, Officers responded to the 500 block of East 13th Street for a report of a burglary no longer in progress. Valorie Coonce reported a lock was broken to a fence, and a push mower was stolen from the garage. A suspect has not been identified at this time.
On the night of September 20th, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had improper registration. The stop took place near West Main Street and South Ohio Avenue. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. Dusty Ray Parish, 43, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs). Parish was arrested and transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center where a fit for confinement check was conducted. Parish was then transported to the Pettis County Jail.
Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 800 block of West 7th Street in reference to a burglary on Wednesday morning. The project manager stated someone made entry into a residence in the overnight hours. The suspects stole a tub, toilet, and flooring material.
On the afternoon of September 13th, a woman came to the lobby of the Police Department to report a violation of a court order in the 1700 block of South Kentucky Avenue.
Tuesday evening, Officers conducted a traffic stop into the main gate of the Missouri State Fairgrounds on a vehicle that was speeding. The vehicle had been observed travelling at 48 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. The driver had a suspended license. Barry Carle Rivera, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested on charges of Speeding, Driving While Revoked, and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility. Rivera was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.
