This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department crime reports.


 

On the night of August 31st, Officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Brandon Avenue for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with Douglas Czarnick. No law violations were discovered to have occurred, and a report was completed to document the incident.


 

Wednesday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of South Lamine in reference to a theft. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the reporting party, Amy Rose Wright. A suspect has been identified, and charges have been submitted.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of East Broadway Boulevard in regards to a theft Wednesday morning. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with Brooke Leeann Kabler, and gathered information. There are no suspects at this time, and a report was generated.

Officers spoke with Melody Hurlburt in the lobby of the Police Station on the morning of September 4th. Hurlburt wanted to report a scam email she received in the 2100 block of South Engineer Avenue.


 

Wednesday afternoon, Officers responded to the 3400 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a hit and run accident. Information was collected from Katrina Juni Schaedel. No suspects have been identified at this time.


 

On the afternoon of August 26th, Officers were called to the 2100 block of West Broadway Boulevard to investigate a case involving the fraudulent use of a credit device. Evidence of bank fraud was discovered while Officers were investigating the other matter. The bank in question was alerted, and they advised they would handle the matter internally.
