Sedalia residents should expect to receive a survey in their April utility bills asking for their assessments of city government. The city of Sedalia will collect the data in an effort to measure general impressions of city government and services.

According to a statement from the Sedalia city officials, opinions related to "virtually all departments that have some sort of contact with the public" will be requested on the survey.  Residents will also have an opportunity to comment on specific departments with they have had contact in the past 12 months.  The purpose of the survey is "to get a general idea of the views that citizens have of city government services."

Instructions on how to return the survey after completion will be printed on the survey.
