City of Sedalia Notes Road Closure, Stormwater Drainage Project

On Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., West Spring Street will have a partial road closure, according to the City of Sedalia.

Also a stormwater drainage project will begin on Wednesday on South Carr and South Park, from 11th to 18th Street.

S & A Equipment & Builders, LLC will begin a stormwater project funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) in the area of South Carr Avenue to South Park Avenue from W. 11th Street to West 18th Street.

The project is expected to be completed by approximately mid-July.

Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period. Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion. The City apologized for any inconvenience this may cause as the City continues to make improvements to the stormwater drainage infrastructure.
