Sedalia Woman Injured in Tuesday Wreck

A 25-year old Sedalia woman was injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle Pettis County wreck.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at approximately 11:20, on Highway 50 at Route W.

According to the online crash report, a Jeep, driven by 25-year old Rebecca D. Gautier, of Sedalia, made an improper turn and pulled into the path of a 2013 Peterbilt, driven by 53-year old Steven A. Bird, of Sedalia.

Gautier suffered moderate injuries and was taken to University Hospital, by PCAD, for treatment.

Bird was reportedly uninjured.

Both drivers were wearing safety devices.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Department assisted the Patrol at the scene.
