A Sedalia woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday evening in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened when a northbound 1999 Toyota Avalon, driven by 33-year-old Kendra S. Chase of Sedalia, exited a private drive at US 65 and Honda Road at 7:13 p.m., and into the lane of travel of a southbound 2012 Ford F-150, driven by 76-year-old Robert R. Stephens of Slater.

The Ford struck the Avalon in the left front portion of the vehicle, causing moderate damage to the Ford, and extensive damage to the Avalon.

Chase suffered minor injuries, and was transported by PCAD to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Both drivers were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Pettis County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
