Sedalia Woman Strikes Cow on Highway
A Sedalia woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Sunday night in Saline County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2024 Chevy Trax, driven by 24-year-old Katie Williams of Sedalia, was on US Highway 65 at 195th Road around 10:30 p.m., when the vehicle struck a cow in the roadway. The Chevy then traveled off the highway.
Williams suffered minor injuries and was transported by Saline County EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment.
The Chevy Trax was totaled and towed by Cadwell's Towing Service out of Marshall.
Saline County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
