Sedalian Arrested for DWI After Crashing Into Culvert

A Sedalia man was arrested for DWI after he crashed his car into a culvert in Pettis County Tuesday.

The MSHP arrested 67-year-old Michael D. DeGraff of Sedalia after the westbound 2003 Chevy Impala he was driving traveled off the right side of Route Y, east of Van Natta Road at 5 p.m., and struck a concrete culvert and a sign.

DeGraff suffered minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene, according to the report. He was arrested at 5:48 p.m. and charged with DWI. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.

The Chevy had moderate damage and was towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.
