The State Fair Community College Board of Trustees will meet Thursday, April 15 at 4 p.m. for a Special Session at the Thompson Conference Center.

The meeting, called by Board President Randy Eaton, will focus on accepting a resolution approving a ground lease and lease purchase agreement with J. Higdon Potter Educational Foundation Inc., for the purpose of obtaining funds to pay costs of acquiring, constructing and equipping the new Olen Howard Workforce Innovation Center; and authorizing and approving related documents and actions, according to an agenda provided by the college.

The board will meet again Thursday, April 22 for a regularly-scheduled session.

The board is comprised of President Randall Eaton, Vice President Patty Wood, Secretary Nick La Strada, Treasurer Justin Hubbs, and board members Richard Parker and Tim Carr, who was appointed to serve the unexpired term that was vacated by former board member Jim Page, who recently resigned.
