SFCC Lady Roadrunners Basketball Signs Linsy

State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners basketball head coach Kevin Bucher has announced the addition of Sarajane Linsy as the second member of the 2017-2018 recruiting class.

Linsey, a 6’0” forward, played at Star City High School for head coach Becky Brown in Star City, Arkansas. As a senior, she averaged 18 points per game. She was named all-conference, all-district and all-state. She also was named to the Starting Five in Class 4A and recognized as the 16th best player in Arkansas.

“Sarajane is a very athletic, physical player and has the skills to press and trap,” said Bucher. “She was a two-time first team all-state player. She can put the ball on the floor and hit the three-point shot. She blocks shots, handles the ball well and is a versatile player.”
