Beautiful weather and gorgeous motorcycles were on tap last Saturday, Feb. 7 for the 26th annual Show-Me Bike Show, hosted by the Sedalia Motorcycle Association.

The judges had to keep their heads down and their pencils sharp to get through all 92 bikes that entered the 21 classes.  “We had a record 17 bikes in the Vintage 1900-1995 (499 cc & Smaller) class which made judging particularly hard,” according to Rick Yeager.

Vendors from Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and locally sold a wide array of items from jackets to audio and aprons to jewelry.  Old friends told stories about motorcycles trips or racing and everyone made new friends.  Mark your calendar for February 6, 2027.  Yeager gave a special thanks to his sponsors, judges, vendors and volunteers who help make the event a success.

“The weather gods have shined upon us, and we have a record number of vendors and motorcycles. It looks like the attendance is also going to be a record and man, are we thankful for this community and thankful for all the people who want to come out and see all these beautiful motorcycles,” Yeager told KSIS, adding that the show typically attracts motorcycle enthusiasts from Iowa, Illinois and Kansas. One vendor came all the way from Wisconsin to be at the Show-Me Bike Show.

“We added 20 feet to each row of venders and still had to turn some down,” Yeager noted.

Billy Claycomb provided music at the west end of the Ag Building on Saturday. “He does a real good job of keeping the crowd happy, and not overpowering them,” Yeager stated.
