Six people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday evening in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound Chevy Silverado was on US 50, west of  NE 651 Road around 6 p.m., when the driver, a 54-year-old man from Warrensburg, began a right turn and was struck by an eastbound 2018 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by a 62-year-old man  from Cole Camp.

The Dodge Ram traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch.

Injured in the Dodge Ram were the driver and three passengers – a 54-year-old female from Cole Camp, a 29-year-old female from Sedalia, and a 26-year-old female from Kansas City.

Injured in the Silverado were the driver and a passenger – a 48-year-old man from Knob Noster.

All of the injured were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

Johnson County Deputies assisted the Troopers on scene.
