The State Fair Community College Foundation is seeking lip sync battle teams for its “Saturday Night Fever” fundraising event on March 25th, in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center, on the Sedalia campus.“The lip sync battle at our signature event, has been extremely popular for the last two years,” said Mary K. Treuner, executive director of the foundation. “We know there are people who want to participate, and we want to give them the chance to showcase their talents during this fun evening.”

According to a press release from State Fair Community College, the event is open to the public and will feature cocktails and appetizers, dinner and a dessert dash, a live auction, and the lip sync battle. Tickets to the event will be available in early 2017, and proceeds will help fund construction of SFCC’s technical education facility.

For more information and to enter a team, contact Treuner, at mtreuner@sfccmo.edu or call (660) 596-7249 by December 16th. Participation is limited to six teams of 2 to 8 members each, and event ticket purchases are required.
