Surveillance Yields Two Arrests in Sedalia
On Tuesday, May 28 at 10:17 p.m., the Mid-Mo Drug Task Force was conducting surveillance at Broadway and New York in Sedalia and witnessed a hand-to-hand transaction with Summer L. Findley, according to a report released on Wednesday.
A traffic stop was conducted later at 16th and Grand and arrested were Findley, 34, and Christopher “Scotty” Lipper, 31.
Findley was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and also on a Pettis County warrant (delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a drug paraphernalia). Bond was $25,000.
Lipper was the driver of the vehicle and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and forgery. According to the report, several drug-related items were located inside the vehicle, as well as a large amount of fake US currency.
The task force worked with Pettis County deputies, detectives and the Pettis County Prosecutors Office in the case.
