Authorities have arrested a suspect in a fatal Benton County shooting.

The Benton County Sheriff's Department says at approximately 7:30 Wednesday night, dispatch received a call from 47-year old Khristy L. Clark, stating that 45-year old Travis C. Henderson was pointing a shotgun at her outside a residence near Ionia.

A 59-year old man was injured Wednesday night after his vehicle struck a deer in the road.

Last Tuesday (Jan 2), Benton County Sheriffs deputies along with the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in Ionia for drugs.
