National Weather Service Issues a Slight Risk For Severe Storms Today
The weather for the first weekend of summer has been great. Today (June 23), that could change. The National Weather Service says much of the Midwest region, including Kansas City, Topeka, Omaha, Des Moines, and portions of St. Louis are now under a slight risk for severe storms today and tonight. The primary hazards will be very large hail, damaging winds and possibly a tornado.
