This Joplin Mansion Has To Be Seen To Be Believed
This mansion in Joplin, which is a mashup of a hunter's paradise and opulent elegance has to be seen to be believed. It'd be perfect for a couple like Lisa and Oliver from the TV show "Green Acres". I could see Oliver enjoying the part of the mansion that has a hunting lodge vibe, while Lisa's fingerprints are all over the part that's elegant.
The home on Crest Drive in Joplin is being offered by Detar Lagow Greer Real Estate TeamPRO 100 Inc., REALTORS. You can check out the listing on Zillow. The asking price in March of 2022, had been lowered from just under $3 million dollars to around $2.5 million dollars.
It's a single-family home with six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, it's on 3.29 acres and it comes with central air and central gas. It also includes six fireplaces, a four-car garage, in-ground pool, hot tub, and more.
I do really like what they've done to the exterior. I like that the exterior has a couple of different levels. The inground pool that seems raised off the ground, plenty of places to entertain, the huge deck with outdoor fireplace, and dedicated paths and bridges done nicely in stone and wood respectively.
The interior, though, neither the hunting lodge vibe nor the elegant vibe really holds much appeal to me. And trying to mash up both styles just conjures up the characters Lisa and Oliver Douglas from the TV show "Green Acres". It's like part of the home was designed by a dude to hang out with his hunting buddies, the other part by his socialite wife looking to impress her friends.
That said, I do like the roomy, large showers, and I like the airiness of the high ceilings and large windows. The media room is pretty good too. Keep on scrolling and take a look at this Joplin mansion that has to be seen to be believed.
