
Arrests Made After Vehicle Displaying Stolen Plate Stopped
The Pettis County Sheriff's Office says three people were arrested after deputies stopped a vehicle displaying a license plate reported stolen by the Sedalia Police Department.
Deputies stopped the vehicle on February 16 in the area of 14th St. and Moniteau. A front seat passenger, identified as Eugene Sharp, reportedly took off running as the vehicle was coming to a stop. He was later arrested, along with the driver, Brianna Johnson, and another passenger, Ronald Barker.
Brianna Johnson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, felony driving on a revoked or suspended license, and receiving stolen property.
Ronald Barker was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Eugene Sharp was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
Barker has been charged in Pettis County with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $35,000. Sharp has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond on Sharp was set at $50,000.
