Three people were injured Tuesday morning in Johnson County in a two-vehicle wreck.

The MSHP reports that a southbound 2002 Pontiac driven by a 16-year-old female juvenile from Centerview pulled into the path of a westbound 2012 Nissan driven by 27-year-old Tyler J. Fick of Freeburg at 7:26 a.m. on US 50 at Route M.

Fick suffered serious injuries and was transported by JCAD to Research Medical Center, while the juvenile and a female 15-year-old passenger in the Pontiac both suffered serious injuries and were transported to area hospitals.

The 15-year-old was the only one wearing a safety device, according to the report.
