Two Adults and an Infant Killed in a Sunday Evening Head-on Collision in Henry County
Just after 6pm Sunday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle fatality accident on Northbound Missouri Highway13, a half mile north of Northeast 530 Road in Henry County.
According to the report, the accident happened as the 2015 Chevrolet driven by 80-year-old Ray T. Kegley of Odessa attempted to pass another vehicle on a hill, and struck a 2000 Pontiac driven by 20-year-old William T. Leonard of Chilowee head-on.
Kegley, Leonard, and a female infant in the Leonard vehicle, identified as Taylor J. Leonard of Chilhowee, were pronounced deceased at the scene, and were transported to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton.
52-year-old Tammy J. Goff of Independence Missouri, a passenger in the Kegley vehicle, and 18-year-old Katrice L. Decker of Chilhowee, a passenger in the Leonard vehicle, suffered serious injuries in the crash and were taken to Research Medical Center for treatment.
