Two Arrested on Southwood Lane for Stealing

Pettis County deputies arrested Richard D. Bartlett and Blake A. Hollon, both of Sedalia, after investigating an incident in the 27700 block of Southwood Lane in Pettis County around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday on suspicious activity.

Bartlett was charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, stealing and tampering with physical evidence. Hollon was charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, stealing and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Both were taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the formal filing of charges by the Pettis County Prosecutor. Stolen property was returned to the owners.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office thanked the public for their assistance in notifying law enforcement of the incident.
