Two Clinton Residents Injured in Head-on Crash
Two Clinton residents were injured in a three-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday night in Henry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2015 Chrysler, driven by 40-year-old Amber K. Aunquoe, was on Highway PP, south of SE 80th Road at 8:45 p.m. when the vehicle crossed the center line and sideswiped a northbound 2014 Ford F-150, driven by 18-year-old Brody S. Boone of Knob Noster. The Ford traveled off the right side of the roadway and became airborne. The Chrysler then struck a northbound 2009 GMC Sierra head-on and traveled off the right side of the roadway.
Amber and an occupant, 17-year-old Chance Aunquoe of Clinton, also of Clinton, were both transported by Golden Valley Ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment. Chance had minor injuries, while Amber had moderate injuries.
Chance was wearing a seat belt, while Amber was not.
All three vehicles were totaled.
Henry County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
