Two people were killed in separate accidents Saturday night in Carroll County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the first accident happened on US 24 just after 8 p.m. when a 2007 Toyota, driven by 37-year-old Bryan Tebbenkamp of Holden, crested a hill and struck a tractor and a 2015 Ford. Two pedestrians were also struck in the collision. One pedestrian, 68-year-old John Burns of Brookfield, was transported to Carroll County Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The second pedestrian, 42-year-old Brian Hale of Carrollton, suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The second fatal accident took place around 10:15 pm. on County Rd. 331 north of Route J. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2004 Dodge traveled off the roadway and overturned. The driver, 48-year-old Virgil Keller of Hale, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene.
