Two Killed in Callaway County Accident

A fatal accident in Callaway County killed two Mexico, Missouri residents on February 10.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder went off the side of Highway 54 north of Auxvasse around  6 p.m. The vehicle struck a concrete culvert and overturned.

The driver, 28-year-old David A. Fletcher, and a passenger, 36-year-old Amanda M. Goff, both of Mexico, were killed.

Another passenger, 37-year-old Michael Fitch of Vandalia, was taken by ambulance to University Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.
