A Warsaw woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Sunday afternoon in Dekalb County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2002 Cadillac Deville was one mile north of Osborn, (west of Cameron), on SW Lakesite Road at SW Rogers Road at 1:52 p.m, when the driver, 52-year-old John P. Harman of St. Joseph, failed to yield at the intersection to a northbound 2008 Honda CRV, driven by 41-year-old Eric R. Hartley of Tulsa, Okla.

The front of the Honda struck the passenger side of the Cadillac. A passenger in the Cadillac, 50-year-old Donna I. Cook of Warsaw, was pronounced dead at Cameron Regional Medical Center at 3:32 p.m. by Dr. Amin.

Three others were injured, including Harman, with moderate injuries, as well as Eric Hartley (minor) and his passenger, 48-year-old Emily B. Hartley (serious), both of Tulsa. All three were taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.

The Hartleys were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash, while the other two were not, according to the report.

Both vehicles were totaled.

Osborn Fire and Stewartsville Fire assisted the five troopers on scene.
