Two Sedalia Residents Arrested, Accused of Property Damage, Theft

On June 20, two arrests were made after police responded to the area of S. Kentucky Ave. and W. Broadway Blvd. on a report of a disturbance with weapons. A short vehicle pursuit ended near the intersection of S. Osage Ave. and W. 15th St. Police say an investigation found that one suspect used a baton to smash the window out of a vehicle. 36-year-old Shuntell Kim Douglas was arrested for second degree property damage, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. 33-year-old Troy C. Wright was arrested for theft of a cell phone.
