Two Warrensburg Men Injured When Freightliner Runs Off Road

Two Warrensburg men were injured just before noon Tuesday when a tractor trailer crashed in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2019 Freightliner, driven by 36-year-old Christopher W. Ford of Warrensburg, was on Missouri 131, one-half mile south of 850th Road at 11:50 a.m., when the truck traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a driveway embankment.

Ford, as well as his passenger, 30-year-old Dennis W. Miller of Warrensburg, suffered minor injuries and were transported to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence by ambulance.

The Freightliner was totaled.
