Victim Flown to Columbia After Being Struck by Train in Sedalia
Sedalia Police and the Pettis County Ambulance District were dispatched to the Union Pacific Railroad tracks near the intersection of E. Broadway and M Highway around 7:30 p.m. January 23 on a report of a person struck by a train. The victim was located and he was flown by helicopter to University Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. The Sedalia Police department says the victim has not yet been identified.
